what is mind?

Like body, mind is another tool given to us. It is such a powerful tool, when not handled properly, it will start handling us.



From the concept of  Vipassana meditation, if we understand mind, there are two different types of mind.
MIND 1 and MIND 2.

MIND 1 is closely connected to the soul. It knows everything about life, birth, death and truth.

MIND 2 is a man-made mind. It is made up of memories. Whatever we see, we hear, we learn everything constitutes MIND 2. 

In meditation, we are giving this Mind 2, a job, to focus on something, thereby it slows down its wandering over places. Therefore, a state of peace is created. Similarly, a balance in mind will be achieved in vipassana meditation. 

Once, there is a balance in the mind, there will be a balance in the body. Once there is balance in the body, there will be a confidence and clarity state, where you can figure out the possibilities to do things in life.
